I'm Waqas Murtaza — an electrical & instrumentation engineer with around 15 years keeping steel and cable plants running, and the builder behind Elite Draw Sew, home solar installations and practical software for small businesses.

01 / Where it startedI started on the plant floor as an E&I technician and worked my way up to leading maintenance. Today I'm Assistant Manager (MRP) at Pakistan Cables, looking after the copper (CCR) and aluminium (ARP) plants at Nooriabad — PLCs, drives, instrumentation and the breakdowns nobody else wants to touch.
